VitaTrack Health, a digital health startup, needed to build a HIPAA-compliant mobile application that would meet strict HIPAA compliance requirements while delivering a consumer-grade user experience. Their challenge was multi-faceted: the app needed to integrate with wearable devices, support real-time video consultations with healthcare providers, manage sensitive health data securely, and be intuitive enough for patients of all technical abilities.
We built a cross-platform mobile application using React Native that connects patients to their entire care ecosystem. The app features HIPAA-compliant data encryption, real-time video consultations via WebRTC, wearable device integration through HealthKit and Google Health Connect, and an AI-powered wellness assistant that provides personalized health insights. The backend was built with a microservices architecture to ensure scalability and compliance, with automated audit logging for all data access events.
